SEO?

SEO is not really dealt with here. But if you want to improve your SERP, you don't "improve [your] keyword ranking". You study which keywords the folks searching use, and make sure they become a part of your text. For example, I wrote a page, Enclosing float elements, (which badly needs updating) several years ago that quickly rose to the first page in Google.

Once some history was established, I studied Google's list of search terms that were used in the real world, and found that searchers used the word "contain" more than they used "enclose". I changed from enclose to contain in my h1 element and in a few more places in the text. Bingo! My page consistently ranked #1. It has moved downward a bit now due to my negligence.

So modify your vocabulary to use the words and phrases real users use in their searches.

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.
