<a> tag and conflicting issue with twitter feed

Hi,

Hope you can help.

I'm having trouble trying to figure out why the links in my twitter feed have the same Background color thats applyed to my navbar. (#9933CC. I'm certain I isolated the CSS to affect only the navbar. For some reason its affecting the twitter feed and I can work out why.

Can you help??
