http://csscreator.com/sites/all/modules/smileys/packs/Roving/puzzled.png Sorry to post about something so trivial but this little white space is driving me crazy.

I discovered how to use an iframe for a very complex drop down menu and position it so that it flows out over the page. Yeah! We've used this menu for years and have always had to edit it page by page before so this is great for me with my need to put off updating my website's style for now.

But... there is this little white space on the left margin I can't find any source for.

I've only got this up on one page and will edit all 300+ pages with the new iframe as soon as it is perfect.

test page

any thing i can post in addition to the link, let me know. Appreciate all i have learned here. Thank you.

Body margin

Set

body {
  margin: 0;
  }
The body element has a default 8px margin.

Also, set

#menuh ul::first-child {
  margin-left: 1px;
  }
so it doesn't overlap borders.

Why are you using multiple sibling ul elements instead of nested lists?

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.

success

Thank you. It seems the body margin: 0; worked. When I set the menu ul margin there wasn't enough room and the tabs jumped down one level.

This menu was my first attempt many many years ago to create a complex navigation for our site when css and such things were new to me. I sort of cut my css teeth on this menue... I know it has to go someday but the learning curve may be more than I can tackle for awhile. In the mean time this iframe seems the quickest fix.

Thank you so much... really made my day today.
