I am having a problem with text that is in paragraphs AFTER lists wrapping around unordered lists.

(I am also getting a similar thing when I add an image or text into a section that has any heading tags. It pushes it up to the previous section above the heading.)

Simple example of a list below (using Joomla 2.5) with online link for how it is displaying

-------------

  • sds
  • sdsd
  • sd
  • sdd
  • sd

This text appears in a paragraph after list.

This is also on a new line after the unordered list!

dfsdfsdf

---------------
This is how it displays:

Any guidance or advice welcome. (Main stylesheet is at http://news.engineering.cf.ac.uk/templates/cardiffgeneric/css/schooltemplate.css)

Thanks!

Try this

div.item-page ol,
div.item-page ul {}

Delete the float property.

Is that the result you want?

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.

Fixed!

Gary,

Thank you so much. That did the trick!

I really appreciate your time.

can't find any combination of list formatting and default or custom text-wrap settings where, for item 4, the second line of text lines up correctly - i.e. where the 'n' lines up with the 'S' as expected (see screenshot below).

How can I make the second and further lines of a list item line up correctly when to the right of an image? The document displayed has the following characteristics.

The list item styles are the Word 2007 default settings
When the image is removed the list item text lines up correctly
The image text-wrap formatting is set to 'square'
