Hey everyone,
Ive been trying to work this out for ages.
Im trying to make it so the writing and photos on my blog posts are 700 or so pixels wide.
So when its done, the writing and photos will be 700px but the the white column and the header/slider will stay as they are at about a 1000px
But this is only for the blog POSTS, the rest of the site stays as is.
Thanks so much for any help.
The site is: www.wildhungry.co.uk

Not sure if this is your issue

.entry-content > p,
.entry-content > div {
  margin: 1em auto;
  width: 700px;
}

Add the rule to (I guess) style.css. As is usual with theme/plugin designers, there's a lot of silliness going on. The base html document is 49kB plus a boatload of images. That's OK, it's content. The seven stylesheets are twice the size of the document they present, and fourteen scripts are ten times the doc's size. Not your fault, but that of the incompetance of the designers.

If I haven't fixed your issue, come back with some more specific info on which elements need to change.

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.
