I don't know if it's just me or not. I thought I'd give Chrome another spin to see if I liked it any better than last time but it doesn't seem to like this site very much. Every time I click a link, I get the little spinning icon in my tab and nothing happens. After a while I hit escape to stop the page loading, press the link again, and then it goes through. This happens with about 80-90% of the links I click on this site. It doesn't seem to be happening with other sites I've been using.

Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

Actually, yes. It's so

Actually, yes. It's so quirky that I don't even test sites on it unless specifically asked. I'm sticking with Opera.

I just tried to load this page on it and it just spins and spins and even a reload wouldn't help. I shut it off.

I've been using Safari mainly but thought I'd give it another go to see if it had improved. It has, but as you say, got a few little quirks about it.

Yep I find Chrome Quirky and

Yep I find Chrome Quirky and I've no time for that, it shouldn't really be acceptable that new browsers are born and simply add to the burden we already suffer in cross browser checking, as you say V I don't check work in it it's time that browsers sorted out their own issues not us. Now is the time that we say sorry but if it doesn't work in new fangled browser released to have a dig at IE then you have plenty of options to try out, please pick another browser that works!

They were hoping to sell

They were hoping to sell doggies on the forum, Pitbulls no less and a very odd domain name verging on inappropriate considering the issues and legislation in the UK over this breed of animal. The user account is suspended.

Yes

I've tried this site with all of them. But the point of the thread is to specifically discuss Chrome.

Not just this site

Since originally posting this thread, I've been using Chrome more regularly and it seems that it has issues with a number of sites when it comes to clicking links or form buttons. Not sure whether it's a problem peculiar to my own particular set-up or not.
