Hi

I noticed trouble with my site http://bibin.hio.no/dkdm/s155392/index.html. It is a school examination I have handed in (with some errors), but before I release it and buy my own webhotel, I need to fix some problems:

The most important thing for me is that the menu-bar is splitting when looking at the site from a computerscreen sized over 15" i think, or with a widescreen. The tab "kontakt" moves down exactly under the first tab "om meg" and then at some of the pages, also the text and pictures are changing position etc. I have putted "clear both" in the code for the menubar, but it seems like there is something else causing this. I created this site in dreamweaver and the spry-menubar as well, but with not the deepest knowledge on html and css, I´m sure several mistakes are done. Hope someone can help me with concrete ways to solve this problem. I am not a heavy programmer, so I appreciate explanation which makes the process applicable and simple so that I do not get into a second round trouble shooting. Smile

Look forward to hearing from you!

Best Regards
Ida Linn Måløy

I don't see the menu problem.

I don't see the menu problem. In which browser/s/ did it occur for you?

I do see other css issues. Look at my versions of several of your selectors. If you don't understand why I did as I did, please ask for an explanation.

#wrapper_main {
background-color:#FFFFFF;
background-position:left top;
background-repeat:repeat-y;
border-left-color:#3D4347;
border-left-style:double;
border-right-color:#3D4347;
border-right-style:double;
margin:0 auto 100px;
max-width:1200px;
min-width:813px;
width:80%;
}

#menu {
  /* use a background color */
  }

ul.MenuBarHorizontal {
display:table;
font-family:Georgia,"Times New Roman",Times,serif;
font-size:95%;
margin:0;
padding:0;
width: 10%;
}

ul.MenuBarHorizontal li {
float:left;
list-style-type:none;
position:relative;
width:10.5em;
}

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.
