I just created a new plugin for CSS that allows you to target parents with a rebel selector (^), style elements using JS events (pseudo-classes aka pseudo-events) and a new dynamic property called "attribute" for toggling attribute values on CSS init or when a pseudo-event is triggered.

You can now style elements with something like:

.child:mouseover ^ .parent { attribute: class hover on; }

If you're into the Leafo SCSS compiler, I have added instructions in the documentation to turn the Waxy CSS plugin on with its SCSS parsing capability as well.

Check it out and let me know what you think at the homestead or download it on GitHub
