It's unusual, I will give you

It's unusual, I will give you that Laughing out loud

I like it but I'm not sure I can describe why. The portfolio scroller is nice, however I think I'd like previous and next buttons - in case I see a picture I want to view but miss it and have to wait for it all to scroll through again to get it up again.

Also, are the two horizontal lines on the page background supposed to match up with the lines above the footer and below the header? They're about 1px out on my screen.

Ya, I was thinking about

Ya, I was thinking about adding the Next/Prev buttons.

The one pixel gap is intentional. Supposed to try and give that "3D" feel, like it's popping off the page.

Deuce, I like it! I'd like to

Deuce, I like it! I'd like to see the top menu larger, but understand why its small. The shadow under everything looks to have about a 10px spread. The more shadow you have, the further away from the page it appears. Maybe that 1px offset you have should be larger to support the shadow? Your inputs would look like with some focus styles.

How do you guys feel about

How do you guys feel about the Portfolio?
I didn't want it to be a giant mess of tons of sites I've worked on and I will most likely change it periodically.
I know the grammar isn't great, I am getting one of my copywriters to go through it and rewrite and edit certain parts, so I'm not too worried about that part.

After looking at it for a while, I can see what you are saying CTJ about maybe aligning it a little lower to give it more "pop". Can you tell what the favicon is supposed to be? It loses a lot of detail being that small and I keep debating on what to do with it.

When you click on a link and it takes you to that section, how do you feel about the arrow that pops up. Is it too big? Does it fit the design? Any suggestions there?
I'm not a designer and didn't want to have to hire one of my designers to do it for me, but I think all-in-all in turned out pretty well.

As for the form having a focus style; that is in the plans. Form isn't 100%. It technically functions, but I need to add a CAPTCHA to it, but I wanted to put a rough draft in to at least complete out the basics of the design.

I am going to be adding one or two more sections. Most likely Define and Services. Define would be a definition of the company name and services should be obvious. I don't think I will add them to the navigation, they will just be in the mix.

When you click on the portfolio piece, what do you think of the synopsis that pops up? I wanted to keep it simple and informative. Thoughts?

The favicon is a brain. I wouldnt be able to see that if it wasnt the same color and shape as the image in the content.

its not too big. it needs to be big since there isnt much contrast. Its a little hard to notice at first. maybe make the arrow shape white. maybe a textural indicator of its function.

I agree!

maybe making the footer larger to provide some room for navigation.

I'll be honest, I didn't know

I'll be honest, I didn't know there was a favicon until you mentioned it. I guess I'm just one of those people who doesn't notice favicons Laughing out loud looking at it looks more like a grey speech or thought bubble to me, but what do I know Tongue

Yes, definitely use some sort of text on the arrow. Even a :hover title would be better than nothing Laughing out loud
