I have been making all kinds of layouts for some time now, but have kind of taught myself how to do it by studying premade layouts, disecting them, and then scripting my own. Recently, I have just figured out how to make a CSS myspace layout. The only problem is: I can only use one bckground color. I'm not exactly sure how to make like an iframe (at least not for myspace since their script isnt normal) soooooo

1.) The background on the layout and wherever the words are gonna go has to be the same since I use an image code in the CSS for the background since I don't normally use web safe colors. When I try to use a different image code for the background where my text goes, it doesn't work. The page only displays what's in my CSS. (The CSS for the page goes first, then the codes for the text on the layout goes in the "who I'd like to meet" box, but if you add another image code for the background, it doesn't show.

Example - BG Image: Black and white stripes. Content section: solid white....so the content section will stay white (because I made the layout image that way without coding) but the background of my text will have black and white stripes, even if I add in the CSS for my text to have a white background

2.) Which is designer hell for me since I have to make designs that are really boring to me....it just looks like I made a picture with words under it. And when you're use to making LAYOUTS not just pictures that blend in with the background, it can drive you crazy.

So how do I make it so I can use two different background codes, one for my text, and one for my layout? And is that even possible? Myspace uses some strange coding...Or do I have to go about making my myspace layouts a completely different way? I haven't fully learned how to use containers and stuff, but idk what works on myspace or not but if thats what it takes, I guess I'll have to teach myself that too

I'm kind of confused about

I'm kind of confused about what you're talking about..

But. MySpace it's best to have your separate sections in separate divs. I'm still kind of confused.

Here's my MySpace div.

Would you be willing to show

Would you be willing to show me your script, and what parts u put in each section?

Basically what Im saying is, when I have two different codes for the background of my divs, the background of the page shows up behind my text....I guess if I see script that works I'd know what Im doing wrong
