OK, I'm just going to give it

OK, I'm just going to give it to you straight. Don't use <marquee> tags. Just don't. Not only are they not valid markup, they are also very annoying.

Basically no one is going to wait for the part that they should already be able to scan toward. Best case, the marquee is ignored. Worst case, it'll drive away viewers.

Hope this helps. Smile

Such tags are circa 1998.

Such tags are circa 1998. They are deprecated, redundant, and reviled, on a par with the 'font' tag and 'center' tag.

Sorry realise it's not what you wanted to hear Smile If you really have to scroll text then you use the behaviour layer i.e scripting. Look through the jQuery plugin library, there are plenty of copy and paste scripts you can use that do this sort of thing.
