Hi folks,

I know there are a ton of options out there (HTML, JQuery, CSS etc), but I am looking for a relatively simple, clean and easy script to run a 5-6 image rotating photo banner on a web project I am working on.

It doesn't have to do anything fancy, just a simple fade in/out transition between images.

Kind Regards,
Cal

Many thanks for the link

Many thanks for the link Hugo!! ... took a little time to figure out the workings and file structure, but it's now incorporated into my development page and working well.

All the best,
Cal

The manner in which jQuery

The manner in which jQuery methods and properties are written can be a little confusing and not greatly explained, From a recent basic implementation I did:

 // Create slideshow instances
 var $slideshow = jQuery('#slider-posts').slides({
 nextText: '>',
 previousText: '<',
 auto: 5000, // delay between sliding groups of slides
 speed: 1000, // speed at which slides move across
 visible: 3 // lets the slider know the slides to show, affects the manual slider clicks if set to default 1 then it takes 3 clicks before sliders will manually move because I set width of the slider parent,
 }),

  // Access an instance API
  api = $slideshow.data('slides');
