Hi,

a site I'm working on displays perfectly in every browser except IE6 and IE7. I have done cross browser fixes before, but with this one, I don't even know where to start...

here is the site:

www.adtc-driver-development.co.uk/eCapture

if you dont have IE6/7 then this is how it displays:

any suggestions?

(css here: www.adtc-driver-development.co.uk/eCapture/styles.css)

That's an easy one. Start here. When you've taken care of that part, if the problems persist, get back to us.

so are the issues to do with

so are the issues to do with invalid HTML ?

it confuses me because most of those errors are not relevant, and if you put in pretty much any web page, validation errors will exist

Well, since you know so much more than we do, why are you having to ask for help?

Those errors are entirely relevant and if you don't understand why you better get yourself educated quick.

As for practice on other web sites, at least 90% of web pages are utter crap, and it that's what you want to do feel free to go to a forum where they support that. We support and promote good coding practice here, and that presupposes valid html.

Why have you posted your question in "Site Checks"? Did you not read this bit: "If you think your site is ready for release then post a link here and we will check it out. Make sure you validate your code and check it in as many browsers as you can first."?
