I found a free css code online for mouseover dropdown. The links I am putting are long so I would like to separate the links in four columns in a table. The codes in the body results to only one column of the table but I prefer to have four columns. I tried to put 4 columns using the td width%, but the result is a mess. Please help and thank you in advance.

THE CSS CODES:

.menu1, .menu1 ul {padding: 0; margin: 0; list-style: none;}
.menu1 a {display: inline; width: 180px;}
.menu1 li {float: left; padding: 0px 8px 2px 0px;}
.menu1 li ul {position: absolute; background: #993399;
padding: 0px 0px 0px 4px; width: 180px; left: -9999px;}
.menu1 li:hover ul {left: auto; }
.menu1 li ul li a {color: #ffffff; text-decoration: none; display: block;}
.menu1 li ul li a:hover {color: #aadd00; background:#800080;}
