w3school

Try using w3school's tutorial, it really helps.

If you need a vertical menu you could simply do the <ul> and <li> tags. :3

You could make it like this.

<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>
<h1>You could always make it like this</h1>
<div id="content">
<ul>
<li><a href="#">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="#">W3Schools</a></li>
<li><a href="#">Html Toturial</a></li>
<li><a href="#">*beep*ing Great Toturial?</a></li>
</ul>
</div>
</body>
</html>

Or you could make it like this if you want more categories below 1 menu button you can make it like this.

<html>
<head>
</head>
<body>

<h1>You could always make it like this</h1>

<div id="content">
	<ul>
		<li>
			<a href="#">Home</a>
		</li>
			<li>
				<a href="#">W3Schools</a>
			</li>
				<li>
					<a href="#">Html Toturial</a>
				</li>
					<li>
						<a href="#">*beep*ing Great Toturial?</a>
						<ul>
							<a href="#">1 Category.</a>
						</ul>
						<ul>
							<a href="#">2 Category.</a>
						</ul>
						<ul>
							<a href="#">3 Category.</a>
						</ul>
					</li>
				</ul>
			</div>
		</body>
	</html>

You can always style it by typing this

<head>
<style type="text/css">
li, ul { list-style-type: none; padding: 0; margin: 0; }
</style>
</head>
