Hello guys, i am now experimenting with a new navigation

(main menu) for my client's website, i made everything fit into place however the padding affect the content below. You can see the problem by hovering on the main menu sections here: http://www.sundayfashion.ro/index27.php

Any help will be appreciated,

Hi! I have an idea for you.

Hi!
I have an idea for you. The drop-down menu seems to "have some weight", so it pushes things down when it appears. Here's some code that I just tried that looks like it's working nicely. Because it's positioned absolute, it doesn't have the "weight", and it just floats freely. Because it's not relative, I had to add a "left" setting to place it in a good spot. Try this, and then change it to your liking.

#navig {
display:block;
float:right;
font-family:arial;
margin:0;
padding:0;

position:absolute;
top:67px;
left:170px;
}

The site looks very nice.

Cheers, Dave

thanks!

You know, i actually played around with "position:absolute;", but didn't think of adding some left margin Smile Thanks!
