I am trying to embed a true type font into a page to use on my nav buttons and h1 - h5s. I keep hearing about this @font-face but always thought it was some paid function from a certain company. The topics relating on here are pretty old and with new css3 have things changed or developed I know nothing about this but need to learn asap.
Thanks for your replies
Go to the Font Squirrel
Go to the Font Squirrel generator. Upload your font and use the CSS they give you. Done.

Provides all the links to sites you would need to understand font-face.
Before uploading a font do ensure that you are allowed to do so under the terms of the fonts licence. Fonts and font foundries/authors retain quite strict licence on their work, you can't simply upload any old font you run across.
Cool versh You certainly deserve that pay rise, of course that would put you in the super tax bracket of 100%
