I have a website i'm workin on... here is the php file code... very simple.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">

<script type="text/javascript" src="/js/jquery-1.9.0.js"></script>

<head>

<meta http-equiv="content-type" content=text/html; charset=utf-8" />

<meta name="description" content=" " />

<meta name="keywords" content=" " />

<meta name="author" content=" " />

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="style.css" media="screen" />

<title>Major Music Label</title>

</head>

	<body>

		<div id="wrapper">

			<?php include("includes/utilities.php"); ?>

			<?php include("includes/masthead.php"); ?>

			<?php include("includes/content.php"); ?>

		</div> <!-- End #wrapper -->

	</body>

</html>

and now here is the CSS code...

body {
font-size: 62.5%;
}

* {
margin: 0; padding: 0;
}

#wrapper {
float: left;
width:750px;
margin:0 center;
text-align: left;
background: #ffffff;
}

#userlogin {
float: right;
list-style:none;
padding-top:15px;
padding-bottom:15px;
}

#userlogin li {
float: left;
padding: 0 1em 0 1em;
border-right: 1px solid #ccc;
}

#branding {
float:left;
text-align: left;
margin: 1em 0 0 1em;
padding: 0 0 1em 6em;
background: url("images/MML_logo.gif") no-repeat 0 0;

}

#branding h1 {

font-size:1.8em;
}
#branding h2 {
font-size: 1.4em;
font-weight: bold;
}

#branding h1 a,
#branding h2 a {
color: #fff;
}

#masthead {
float:left;
width:100%;
background: #000;
margin: 1e 0 0 0;
padding-bottom:15px;
}

#language {
padding: 2px 0 0 0;
float: right;
list-style:none;
}

#language li {
float: left;
padding:0 1em 0 1em;
border-right: 1 px solid #fff;
}

#language li a {
color: #fff;
padding-top:12px;
}

#c1 {
float: left;
width: 220px;
padding: 15px 0 15px 15px;
background: #eee;
}

#c2 {
float: left;
width: 220px;
padding: 15px 0 15px 15px;
background: #fff;
}

#nivoSlider {
width:205px;
padding-right:15px;
}

#c3 {
float: left;
width: 220px;
padding: 15px 0 15px 15px;
background: #eee;
}

now then, the problem is, i want everything to be in the middle of the web page, and instead of doing that, everything is crammed over into the left. on top of that, my columns aren't fixed and whenever i resize the screen, it jumbles up the layout of the content.

i'm just wondering if someone can take a quick look at my code and help me see what else i could be doing.

i've been trying to figure this out on my own for the last day, researching and rewriting, over and over again... i'm sure its something really simple, but its been eluding me.

any help would be appreciated. thanks.
