Hi,

I have a DIV (or table TD) with its content organized in 3 CSS columns.
It's a list of links spread into the 3 columns, and I'd like each link to show a little preview when moused over. This preview is in a new DIV that appears on top of the list, but it systematically spills into the columns of the parent DIV, when I need it to be able and get out of the columns.

This image should be easier to understand my problem: http://nbollier.free.fr/css-column.jpg

I've tried tweaking each DIV with CSS float, block, overflow, display... but can't get this preview DIV to NOT spill over the columns.

Please help!!

That's what it's supposed to do

Where's your source? Hard to debug a picture.

cheers,

gary

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.
