I cannot figure out how to delete the box that has my partial blog post in it, located on the front page under each blog post.

I only want the blog title and the READ MORE button.

This??

Does the image, attd, do what you want? Then make this change to your css file. Not checked for side effects. You will find the style rule in style.css on line 1509 (in my editor; YMMV).

.entry-content p {
	margin-bottom: 28px;
	line-height: 1.8;
	display: none;
}

These WordPress themed pages are a royal pain to modify and maintain.

If your web page is as clever as you can make it, it's probably too clever for you to debug or maintain.

That works but the problem is it gets rid of the entire blog post too.

Also, on the blog posts at the bottom there is PRINT button I want to delete. any suggestions?

Wondered about that

I think you need to look to your server-side files. Assuming you aren't skilled in that area, have you asked the theme's author for a solution?

_______________
Note: WordPress is easy to use out of the box, but alterations are often next to impossible. WP no longer imposes significant restrictions on their contributors, which leads to some really trash client-side code. The desire to be all things to all people means ridiculously generic markup and silly, micro-managed style rules.

Also, if you do alter your template and associated files, any updates or security upgrades are likely to replace your changes.

Unless you have compelling reasons for altering the original, I advise you stay with the original boxed version. ~g
