My site: www.AR-Auto.com

If scroll down on the right side you'll see a box with the title "Ads"
How do I make the font color white (for that sidebox) without making the main body text white?

I think it's a specificity

I think it's a specificity issue but please validate your code first. I'm having a hard time figuring the markup. It would be much simpler if the code were valid.

Here it is...

I put this code in template.css

a.adlinks {
color:#ffffff;
}

And added a class to every ad, like this:

<a class="adlinks" target="_blank" href="http://totalpartssource.com/">Total Parts Source<br>
Your #1 source for<br>
new and used parts!<br><br></a>

I'm saying your code is invalid and there is no point in fixing the issue until you bring it into compliance.

Topic Specified.

Here's some specifications:

These are what the ad's code look like:

<a class="adlinks" target="_blank" href="http://totalpartssource.com/">Total Parts Source<br>
Your #1 source for<br>
new and used parts!<br><br></a>

View the image ads.png (The links are white because I changed them in firebug and visited links are set to #FFF)

As you can see in image adlinks.png I have the class in my template.css but it's crossed out for some reason in firebug..

AttachmentSize
ads.png 25.6 KB
adlinks.png 761 bytes

It's crossed out because it's overridden. Did you read the link on specificity yet?

Omggg

For the 10th time...

Did you read the link on specificity yet?

I do not know what link on specificity is!

Not trying to be rude or anything.

Is it part of the CSS I edit?

I'll give you a hint. It's been posted twice.
I'll post it again just incase you missed it.

Now I get it because I clicked the specificity link. It wasn't there before.

Thanks, guys!
