I hope I have put this in the right place and Im sorry if this questions been answered a million times, I didnt really know what I was searching for.
I am working on a site and as I go I like to highlight the page to make sure its all nice and neat and tidy with no all over the place but whenever I highlight my text my tags show up and arnt invisible.
I am using css and was wondering if anyone would know how to fix this as I have tried a few different combinations but Im not really sure what I am surposed to be searching for.
I want it so that when I highlight the text I only highlight the text and the tags dont show up.
I have attached an image to help since I have no idea what Im asking for.
Many many thanks
Should really provide code,
Should really provide code, we do ask over and over again
If your using the br element don't, replace with paragraph elements, but as for highligting text not sure why you are doing that
Are you putting a space
Are you putting a space between two <br> tags? That's the only way I think that would happen.
As Hugo said, mark it up correctly and don't use the <br> tags. There is no real reason to use them in this case. Use either paragraphs or an unordered list.

How would you recommend doing it if I dont use the tag? I want it so that there is one break line in between the paragraphs - just basically what I would get with two tags.

As stated by both Hugo and me, use paragraph tags.
