Is the development of web sites through Content Management Systems like Wordpress replacing the web development through the knowledge of CSS, HTML, Javascript, PHP, etc.

I've been searching the web and I found that these CMSs face some disadvantages like security and complexity in large sites.

Do I have to master these technologies for the sake of my future as a web developer?

Thanks in advance,

Rafael

It depends on the type of

It depends on the type of sites you work on and the clients needs.
If the client wants to be able to edit the content then a CMS is probably the way to go.
