Im looking to create a 3 column layout to go in the content middle box that I can pad from the top, the left and the right every solution I have tried mixes the writing around nothing seems to work other then using the column class/library but this is incompatible with earlier versions of ie (as I understand it). Any help would be appreciated.

.content_middle{
	background-image:url(Images/middleImage.jpg);
	background-repeat:no-repeat;
	width:974px;
	height:321px;

}

#support {
	float: left;
	width: 34%;
	margin-left: 33%;
	font:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	font-size:12px;

}

#consult {
	float: left;
	width: 33%;
	margin-left: -67%;
	font:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	font-size:12px;}

#e-marketing {
	float: left;
	width: 33%;
	font:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	font-size:12px;
	}

3 columns

To have 3 columns you can do the following:

<div id="left"><p>left</p></div>
<div id="right"><p>right</p></div>
<div><p>middle</p></div>

#left {
	float: left;
	width: 20%;
}

#right {
	float: right;
	width: 20%;
}
