(these pages appear fine in firefox but Chrome has issues)

They both have the exact same css file, nav.css

The troublesome CSS property is below. It's delivered to both pages but renders differently. I'm tearing my hair out here trying to figure it out!

#subnav ul {
padding: 3px 0 0 0;
background-color:#ff3333;
height: 17px;
}

I know there must be something different in the markup... but have looked at 20 times and can't see anything.

anybody any ideas?

Hi Paul,
Best thing to do when experiencing issues like this is to validate the pages.
In xhtml you should close all tags correctly.

If that dosen't help then start eliminating sections of code to see if you can find the difference.
