I've been working on customizing a tumblr template and at the moment I've hit a brick wall. It seems like it must be something super obvious but at the moment I can't figure it. Any help would be uber appreciated.
Here is the tumblr blog link:
I created the navbar and it should sit flush with the top of the page (as seen here: http://thisisponyattack.com/2010/2010-index.html, made this page as well) but I can't figure out why it will not. I have zeroed the margin and padding.
I've made a horizontal bar of links, and now I want to add a couple of lines of explanation to the right of the links, stacked on top of each other, but still in the bar. This is working fine except for one minor thing: I want both lines of text to start in the same place horizontally so they're both left-aligned. Currently they look like a centered paragraph.
In .explanation I tried using
text-align: left but it had no effect.
<div class="bar"> <ul class="barlist"> <li><a href="#">1</a></li> <li><a href="#">2</a></li>
Hello, I have checked all over google and have not found an answer to my question that works. I have 3 boxes with text boxes underneath that need to be aligned to the center while remaining in a line. Note the boxes under the picture boxes are separate due to peoples suggestions.
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> <head> <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" /> <meta name="Description" content=" "/>
Hi guys I am new to CSS but it is bugging me already I have a footer which has a footer wrap. Basically I want some text to float right and left of this wrap whilst being on the same line. I have tried for ages but I know its a quick minute job once you know how. Here is the code:
<div id="footer"> <div id="footerwrap"> <div class="leftfooterwrap"> <ul> <li><a href="/" title="Home">Home</a></li> <li><a href="/" title="CCTV">CCTV</a></li> <li><a href="/" title="Burglar Alarms">Burglar Alarms</a></li>
Hi, i am working in the application: www.plantasic.es. The problem is on the table on the right top corner of the screen: perhaps the two images columns make the table higher, but i haven't the way of putting them without vertical spaces, since vspace is deprecated and the W3C Markup validator doesn't allow it. Thus, the table has the two rows of the first column higher than its content. Should i separate the images into table cells? Any other suggestion?
