I was referred to this forum from one of the mods of the wordpress.org support forums, hoping somebody can aid me.
On the site http://old.globecreative.com/02/, users can move the columns both vertically and horizontally for some reason, e.g if my mouse pointer is in the first, or the last column( about me) I can scroll up/down as well as left/right with my iMac mouse. They are not supposed to go left/right though. Any idea of how I can fix this?
Note that I have tried adding
overflow-x: hidden to the css for those columns, doesn't do a thing.

On my article pages there is a facebook like and twitter button hard coded into the theme. I have set a zoom: 80% in #body in the CSS. This is causing both social buttons and the facebook flyout to get cut off pretty bad. I have tried adding some overflow: visibles both in browser with Firebug Lite and in Style.css, no luck yet. Here are some screenshots to give you an idea of what i'm talking about.
I have looked up a solution to this to no avail.
I have tried adding "overflow:scroll" without success.
I want the central yellow text to be able to scroll down to see the complete text... without changing the layout of the other elements. Preferably without ugly scrollbars if possible. I feel like there is an easy solution I am overlooking. Thank you.
important css is line 200
I've recently joined a company to help with web design although this site has not been set up/designed by me, we are using a content management system to manage blog posts but this is linked via feed burner and might be messing with the scrolling?
This has been driving me crazy. As far as I can tell (through searching around the web) nobody else seems to have this problem. The CSS code for the body is:
this is my first post..
I am improving my css layout and i have encountered a certain problem with it..
I have a 3 column site all my side navs are in the left (.side1 and .side2) and the content is in the right (.content) wrapped with a container (.container).
What i want in my template is if my content overflows both side navs should follow the height of the content.
