IE not displaying UL Navigation backgound images?!

I'm at the end of my tether with this problem. I started browser testing today and this one issue has plagued my whole day.

I'm using an image replaced navigation to control a slider which views perfectly in firefox and Safari but as soon as it comes in contact with IE8< the background images do not appear. When I change the text-indent to 0 the text anchors appear in the correct position so I'm thinking it's just some sort of image referencing issue?! Maybe it's an issue with Adobe Broswerlab as I'm not running IE on my Mac, I'm working off screen grabs.

Clearing div

Hi,

I'm trying to create a page where the background will extend with more text on the page, but I also need to set my footer to clear. I've tried a couple different settings and neither has worked. I tried creative classes and ids "clr" with the "clear:both;" property as well as putting "clear:both;" into the actual page code as "

" and nothing has worked.

Thanks!

Display differences - Firefox and IE6&7

Hi All Smile

I'm new to this forum so bare with me.

I am having issues with the display of my clients website, www.perfectimagery.co.nz , whereby the menu will not center in IE and the spacing between the menu - header - content - footer is different when displayed in firefox and IE6&7.

I have tried editing the Style.css and the theme I'm using does allow for differnt style.css for IE6, IE7 and other browsers.

Below is my style.css code for the main style.css file.

I'm trying to create an expandinging menu with CSS. I've managed to get the first opetion to drop down, but the others dont seem to work and I don't know why.

Here's the menu I've made, http://fuximagazine.com/dev/commenu.html#

Here's the CSS for it;

#fuximenu {
font-family: Arial;
font-size: 100%;
width: 160px;
padding: 1px;
margin: 0px;
}

#fuximenu ul {
list-style: none;
margin: 0px;
padding: 0px;
border: none;
background-color:#b07973;
width:160px;
}

#fuximenu ul li {

padding: 0px;
}

#fuximenu ul li a {
font-family: Arial;

Menu image squished

Hi, I had replaced a rollover navbar image a while back and I double-checked my styles and the actual image sizes and all seems correct... But the image appears squished more than the images around it in the navbar, especially in firefox. Can anyone explain why this is happening/happens?
