jQuery slidemenu CSS positioning problem

Hi Everyone,

I've been scouring both jQuery and CSS forums for an answer to my question to no avail, as of yet.

I'm using a typical jQuery slidedown menu placed inside of it's own html page, which is then included on the main homepage via server-side include action.

The problem is with the lower half of the menu items. They shift down approximately 10 pixels when you rollover any of the menu items and stay there until you refresh the page. This problem only occurs in internet explorer 7 for windows that I'm aware of. It works fine on internet explorer version 6 and older.

css template with netbeans

Ok so i already know how to make header, content and footer.
And now i want to learn how to build a website, with basic colors, becouse i don't know photoshop.
Need to learn how to put links in header, how to add content in content...and that will be good enough for begining, i already know HTML.
Thanks in advance.

2/ dropdown elements are visible before click
3/ elements show as vertical column

css horizontal hover-effect list: problem with firefox browser

I'm recoding my website in css and have run into trouble with the horizontal hover-effect menu list.

Problem: list works in chrome & explorer but firefox collapses the list + shows buttons out of order.

I used a simple list --- resourced from from A List Apart's CSS design - Taming Lists http://www.alistapart.com/articles/taminglists/.

Center Text In Image for Menu Button

I am trying to center my text in an image for a menu button and I can't seem to get it to work. I have the text centered left to right but not up and down. What would be the code to do this?

body {
	font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
	background-color: #333;
	background-repeat: repeat;
	font-size: 100%;
	color: #FFF;
	letter-spacing: 0.2em;
	vertical-align: center;
#wrapper {
	background-color: #603;
	height: 629px;
	width: 1024px;
	vertical-align: center;
	horizontal-align: center;
