100% menu height and random margin problem

Hello.
I'm designing my first website and I'm facing some problems. I've researched a lot, but can't really fix my problem...

I want the site to be fluidly resizable - I hate having a 1920x1080 screen and seeing every site consisting only of a small, centered rectangle, using 20% of the available space.

The problems are:
First:
There's some kind of margin between the content and the menu I can't seem to get rid of. When the menu stops (which is another problem), that margin goes away...
How can I fix this? I want to be able to control the margin.

Hi,

I am finishing up a new design for an old client and having trouble finding 2 problems that are caused by the css code for the flyout menu in I/E.

The web site: http://www.griefcounselor.org/new/index.html

The problems: The flyout menu simply does not work in I/E.b The css code for the flyout menu is also causing each link on the page to be placed on a separate line. You can see this problem clearly in the breadcrumb trail links and the footer links.

The css code:

/* Start of Fly-Out Menu \*/

Hello everybody I need your help,

I'm new in website design and I don't know where to fix this problem.

Here's what I did:

I created the design using Dreamweaver in 2 languages. I created another sub folder for Chinese language. I tried to preview the design in Dreamweaver and I found no problem.

I uploaded my files using Filezilla then check online and found they're not the same view in Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome & Safari.

Pls. help me what to do. Here's the site.

Any input is highly appreciated.

Printing Webpages- Text background-color:Transparent not working in IE

Hi,
I'm trying to create a printable webpage, on it I have text with a transparent background which is positioned over an image. I've set its "background-color: transparent" but IE seems to ignore this and gives it the background color of the containing DIV, which shows up on top of the image. On screen its fine and its ok when printing with other browsers, but it won't print the correct way in IE. All of my CSS is inline.

Does anyone have any idea why this would be happening or have a solution?

Thanks
