URGENT - Need help with friggin IE8!

Hello all!

I've been battling with an IE8 issue and am at my wits end. I'm hoping a fresh set of eyes from you CSS Gods will help me with a solution!

I added a contact form to the header of one of the standard Wordpress templates. For some reason, in IE8, the container expands vertically pushing the content down.

I've tried EVERYTHING!

1) I set a negative margin for IE8 to push the form up which worked but the container was still doubling in size
2) I then tried a overflow:hidden; thinking it would cut it off but it wiped out the form instead!

(IE8) Internet Explorer 8, adds extra padding/margin to UL

Development site

I'm in the process of developing a site for a client and am having problems with IE8 and UL lists. ScreenGrabs below, One is form IE7 and one from IE8. I'm trying to find out why ie8 is applying extra spacing at the moment and have reset everything for testing. The menu items should but right up to each other at the moment.

If anyone can help that would be appreciated.

IE 7 & 8 - CSS - page body adds extra width, causes scrolling.

Hey All -

This is my first post here, and I'm at my wits end, so I'm really hoping for some help. I'm pushing a skin on an application called Jive which involves creating a new theme.css stylesheet that overwrites the standard layout. It's not always pretty, but it's what we got.

Cross Browser Issue - Float/Structure?

I'm running into an issue with layout being a problem in one browser(IE8). I may have to implement different code structure, so any suggestions are much appreciated.

Here is a link to the page with issue.

Each product is derived from a template (code below). The page checks out great in IE7, Chrome, FF, and Safari in both Win and Mac. I need to get it lookin' good in IE8 as well.

Here is the code I have.

<style type="text/css">
    .rtcustoms {margin-top:-60px;text-align:left;z-index:0;}

Different CSS Problems in IE and FF

I have a couple of problems with IE8 on a Joomla site. I have tried for weeks now to Google a solution and I can't seem to get to the bottom of it.

In both cases the site works great on FF.

Problem 1: IE8 - http://www.turkishlocalnews.com/portal/local-news

Each story in the local news has a Created Date and Last Updated Date that shows above the article and below, respectively. (see the site in FF for the true appearance).

The code for the dates are:

<table class="contentpaneopen">
	<td valign="top" colspan="2" class="createdate">
