background (image) position way off

Can anyone see why the white background of "top_menu" is displayed all the way at the top of the page?
(with Firefox - not checked MSIE yet)

Been pulling my hair out about this. Starting to wish I had never started.

Extending green background color in a wordpress column and fixing IE left justified issue

Hi. I'm new to WordPress and this forum and a beginner with CSS. I'm having lots of issues with my layout but my most immediate need is to extend the green color of the navigation bar down to the bottom of the columns, and to fix the IE issue with the green color being left justified. I'm using IE 7.0 and WordPress 2.9.

The site is a WordPress site and isn't working quite right but you can at least see what I mean

Any help anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

IE and background-position issues... again...

This has been dealt with a lot, so I'm sorry if this has already been answered.

I've got the following css:

.pnav li {
	float: left;
	margin: 0px 16px;
	height: 7px;
.nav_home, .nav_portfolio, .nav_shop, .nav_press, .nav_news, .nav_about {
	background-image: url('../img/pnav.gif');
	text-indent: -9000px;
.nav_home { width: 31px; background-position: 0px 0px; }
.nav_home:hover, .nav_home.current { background-position: 0px -9px; }

Slider *ie* Help Please!

I'm having a few issues with my css file.
My slider is not showing up at all in ie, and the menu is a little bit off.
Can someone please help me?

Here is the test page:

Here is the css code for the slider:

a img {
border : 0;
div.wrap-header {
width : 661px;
text-align : left;
div#top div#nav {
float : left;
clear : both;
width : 661px;
height : 52px;

can't get content to scroll in IE

My site looks great in FF but I can not get it to scroll the content in IE. Can anyone help me figure this out?
