Help with full width site

I am building a site with a full width header, navigation and footer and I am wanting to align the nav and footer copy centrally but still have it left aligned. I have tried using text indent but on smaller screen sizes it doesn't work as the copy stays where it is no matter what size screen it is viewed on.

Is this possible? If so how?

Cheers in advanced.

Embedded web page position

Using Dreamweaver thrColHybHdr css and having a problem with the location of embedded web page in the main content area. Tried width="100%" height="100%" but page comes in tiny and stays tiny.

width="100%" height="700" is the height I want but the embedded page is centered in the main window when I want it at the top.

My html:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "">

Please check my site, problems with spry-menubar in DW

I noticed trouble with my site It is a school examination I have handed in (with some errors), but before I release it and buy my own webhotel, I need to fix some problems:

Getting elements to appear outside of a Overflow: scroll area.

Basically I'm trying to get a Span block to visually float and overlap the edges of a box which is overflow set to scroll.

So here is code example to try and clarify the issue.

.table_wrapper { height: 200px; overflow: scroll; }
a span { display: block; padding: 10px; background-color: #FF0000; color: #FFFFFF; }
<div class="table_wrapper">
<th>Heading 1</th>
<th>Heading 2</th>
<th>Heading 3</th>
<td><a href="#"><span>This message should Hover</span>Content 1</a></td>
<td>Content 2</td>
<td>Content 3</td>

Cause floated elements to go from top to bottom...

Hi all

I'm adding elements to a DIV using Javascript at the moment. These elements are floated right, and the effect is that they appear in the top right corner, and are added to the left until there's no horizontal space, at which point they begin in the next row.

What I'd like to happen is that the elements are added below the previous, and if there's no room left vertically, they are added in the next column.

Any ideas?
