WTH is going on here?!?! 100% width layout text will not constrain.

I'm kinda new... not THAT new but this is the first time I've tried to do a layout where it appears the header and footer are 100% width, but the container have set widths. I have been messing with the code for days and have broken it back down to just bare basic code to try and figure it out. Check out the footer in red. The text won't wrap, just keeps on going even though the footer div is 960px wide. url= http://www.rockgonewired.com/nwko/index.php

Overflow problem with fixed position divs on side of page

Hey, I'm having a problem with my sidebars that contain all the links on my page. The CSS and HTML are both valid (except some alt tags I didn't put in images and few other things I was too lazy to fix).

I have a "container" div that contains everything and four divs with content. I have a header, a main div with all the content, and two sidebars with links that are fixed as you scroll down the page.

I fixed this once before, and then lost it in an FTP snafu... can you please help me expand the white body area just a bit over the the right to match the width of the blue header? It's approximately 10px.

Some simple DIV issues

I need help in 2 things:
I attached a picture for a better understanding.

1. The top, bottom and left sides of my site have merge, even though I set them all to 0. I DO centered my site, but for example, when I make the browser's window smaller, I want the left to be at the very limit.
My div that contains EVERYTHING is called container.

CSS Code:
margin:0 auto 0 auto; /* TOP RIGHT BOTTOM LEFT */

center a div inside an artisteer template

I created a quick template with Artisteer and have modified the CSS a little to suit my needs.
The problem is Artisteer generates weird code and I can't get a div to be centered (the container where main content will go) The Div class is "art-post" I have tried to center it with text-align or even align=center in html but it must inherit its position from somewhere else. Basically I want the art-post div to be centered.
