i'm ready for critique.

URL no longer available.

if you mac folks could take a look and tell me where the major bugs are, that would be great.

btw, the project is not supposed to validate.

so yes, all those questions i asked here on this forum directly helped me with this project. so thanks to all of you who replied and helped me.

thanks and cheers!

long time coming

it's very nice. i like it 'cause it's simple and very clean.

the only thing i'm not too sure on is:

right under you banner (GATEWAYS), you've got a thick yellow bar and then to dotted lines. i would remove 1 of the dotted lines.

otherwise... very nice Cool

Every project should validate. You won't learn nearly as much if you don't.

IE on Mac

Nice site. Clean interface. I noticed one problem on IE. When you narrow the browser window, in the news center box the gap between "Introducing Gateways" and "Version2" gets larger and larger. Isn't it supposed to be one line?

The box above the links are center aligned. I would left align them.

thanks for the reply, pavansut. i was unable to reproduce your ie remark on my machine. but, yea, it ought to be on one line but it's a really fixed width site. i had no control over any of the design issues. so that means the links that are center and might be better left, are part of a negotiating process that is not down my alley. afterall i'm not a designer let alone the designer.

this brings me to PezIbc's point about learning through validation. i know that and you know that and most people who look in this forum know that, BUT, i came into this project too late to move the team towards validating. afterall they've been doing this stuff since 1994, and well they know what's best....(please notice sarcastic humour).

one other note, this site's backend is some CMS system i knew very little about when starting the project and now know less than before, except, i also don't have control of the database that all the content is stored in.

again, thanks.
