I just finished a new design for the climbing club I'm a member off.
All the links on the page go to the same page, I still have a lot off work to do on the php code. But before a go further, I would like to see what the world thinks of the layout.

To site is for the moment running on mine own webserver at home, so it could be possible that it's a little bit slower.

The url: http://bvkb.dyns.cx:4000/bvkb/bvkb.php

Let me know what you think of it.

The text at the bottom is too hard to read against the orange.
Your orange links could maybe be darker to give them more contrast with the background.
You should be able to find another solution to placing your login other than using lots of

Pictures Girl

Conoobus,

You find more pictures of the girl on
http://www.worldcuppuurs.com/worldcup/wc2005/live.php?menu=3&mode=resultfemale Laughing out loud

The girl on the previous site is the one on the second place, just click the camara icon right off the name.

But back on topic, the bottom text is maybay best changed to white, to give more contrast. I'll test the orange links with a darker color, but that will be something for next week.

Thanks allready for the comments.

PS: Is using &nbs; bad design??? It looked like me the most easy way to do it.

From a CSS point of view it is because you're using   for positioning - and that's what CSS is for.

date cuttof

I had the same impression, and if I move the date to the left, it stays the same. The problem is only in ff.
I have no idee what the problem is.

firefox and date

On mine system it was showing allright, you saw the whole date.
I gave it a margin-right of 1px, are there people who don't see the whole date????

Let me know.

Thanks

You have a very good design there! Although it doesn't load as fast (I'm using a 56kbps connection), it doesn't load too slow either. Cheers! Laughing out loud

slow loading

The slow loading is more because it runs at a webserver at mine home, and I don't have a very fast upload from here.

But it moves to a professional webserver once the site is done.

Thanks for the positive comment.
