And now a 2nd post.

If you have a look at this site you'll notice the "Welcome" and text are aligned left. I want them to be aligned right, but when I do a "float:right;" in my CSS it negates the background images and the dotted line only goes around the header image then.

Here's my code for the HTML section, then the CSS section.

Help:?:

<body>

<div id="container">
<div class="content">

<div class="header">
<a href="http://www.adkinsfamilygroup.com/home.php">
<img src="images/header.jpg" border="0">
</a>
</div>

<div class="blog">

<MTEntries>

<div class="blogbody">
<h3 class="title"><$MTEntryTitle$></h3>

<$MTEntryBody$>
</div>

</MTEntries>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</body>

CSS...........

.header {
		height:123px;
		width:750px;

	}

	.content {
		position:center;
		margin-right:auto;
		background-image:url(images/blog.bg.jpg);
		background-repeat:no-repeat;
		background-position:top left;
		margin-left:auto;
		margin-bottom:0px;
		width:750px;
		}

	#container {
		border:1px dotted #191919;
		background:#E2DDBD;
		width:750px;
		position:center;
		margin-top:10px;
		margin-right:auto;
		margin-left:auto;
		}

	#links {
		padding:15px;
		border:1px solid #FFF;
		width:200px;
		}

	.blog {
  		padding:0px;
  		position-absolute:right;
		width:70%;
		}

	.blogbody {
		font-family:verdana, arial, sans-serif;
		background-image:url(images/content.bg.gif);
		color:#333;
		font-size:small;
		font-weight:normal;
  		line-height:140%;
		}

	.blogbody a,
	.blogbody a:link,
	.blogbody a:visited,
	.blogbody a:active,
	.blogbody a:hover {
		font-weight: normal;
		text-decoration: underline;
	}

	.title	{
		font-family: verdana, arial, sans-serif;
		font-size: medium;
		color: #666;
		}

float:right disables background

Hi noelgreen,
What do you mean by the "Welcome" have you linked to the wrong page or can you spell it out to me a little clearer.

No, that's the right page, but it's basically the content area.
I actually sort of figured out a way around it... as you can see by the above link.

I'm just setting the margin width of the content to like 180px and floating the side bar buttons... that way it lines up right.

Sorry for the confusion. I'm constantly working on the pages as I post to forums... MoveableType forums are the ones I frequent mostly, but this one has helped me already! (reading old posts etc.)

Thanks. Smile
