Tony

Forgive me is someone else has mentioned this.

For the past few days I've noticed that the forum no longer goes to the specific spot on the page so that a url like: http://www.csscreator.com/css-forum/sutra56819.html#56819 doesn't act like it goes to the #xxxxxx part. Upon further examination, it appears that the #xxxxx part and the thread url are the same so it is the link itself that is not being generated properly.

I've noticed it. When you post a reply, and click "view your message", instead of viewing your reply, it redirects you to the top of the page.

Yeah I noticed this as well, when posting replies it does not refresh to your actual post but top of thread and I think for a while it was not even refreshing and one had to click to return to forum or post.

I think that Tony has been tinkering and broken something

Ahhhhhhhh,
Hi guys,
I did a little template fixing the other day and got rid of a couple of empty elements, one that was only there to target posts with an id.
So I moved the id to another element and because it is not valid to have a number starting an id I added a "p" in front of the number. Then had to go through and change anywhere that linked to a particular post.
Looks like I missed quite a few places.
Old links to posts will take you to the top of the page until I get everything settled and run a query to update the links.

I will try and fix up all the links I have missed as soon as I can.

Hi Hugo,
Unfortunately it is an addiction for some of us. Shock

I believe I have found most of the places that require a change, so I will do a little local testing today then upload the changes if all seems alright.

Tony.

I have rolled it back to numeric id's, as I couldn't find all the links to fix.

It's quite possible I have missed a few or screwed up something else in the process, so keep an eye out.
