I've got a bug with IE 5.0 on the page http://www.moss-avis.no .
If you load the page without any favorites or log panels open the page displays fine, but with one of the panels open it's being created a large white field, which slides the whole page down... If you resize the panel, or remove them, the page displays fine.
I cannot recreate the problem with IE 5.5 or IE 6.0.
Is there any solution to this problem ?
IE 5.0 creates large white area
I could not quite figure out what you meant till I realised you are talking about the sidebar in the browser where you can show favourites, Search, History. In IE6 and FB when sidebar is open, then your far right column is being pushed down below everything as there is no room in the viewport, and you have a liquid layout.
But it sounds like you have a problem with IE5 which I do not have. Can you post an image of the problem.

The "bug" also occurs on this forum site.
Same thing.
When i make a box with a <div> tag, IE 5.0 makes a large space in front of it, (actually bigger than on this picture...)

No idea - maybve someone with IE5 experience knows about this problem.
