Hello everyone.

I have been fighting my design for two days and coming up empty handed each time.

First, here is a link to my page that is giving me problems:
http://publish.bezaleel.net/index.php/About_Us/58/0/

If you view the page in Mozilla, you should see the page correctly. However, if you view it in IE you should notice two things.

1.) The middle background image on the header does not repeat along the x-axis. If I put "spaces" in the code, however it will expand...but only as far as there is text....still not all the way across.

2.) The text, when displayed in IE, displays several spaces over to the left (under the navigation).

Does anyone have any solutions? Is there code I have messed up? Is there more code needed?

Fresh eyes looking at this one would be a great help. I am sure I have looked at it too long.

The CSS code is located at:
publish.bezaleel.net/fileadmin/RiverbendChristian/css/screen.css

Thanks,
Kevin L.

Bground repeats in Moz, but doesnt repeat IE

1) add width: 100%; to the header-center div

2) * html .two .pad should be left 203px (not 180px) to match the width of the left column.

Bground repeats in Moz, but doesnt repeat IE

Day,

THANKS A LOT!

sorry for the caps, but dats how I feel! Smile

I made the changes you suggested and then I realized that my header-center div was scrolling out past the right side nav.

So I put it on a different z-index and then put the left and right nav tops in the z-index above the header.

Then I also moved the header from 203px left to 0 px left, and from 184px right to 0px. This way it spanned 100% of the browser width but did not do so from the 203px mark. Smile

Anyway, you can still look at it at the same location for now!

I really do appreciate that great insight!

Thanks,
Kevin L.

hmm when I gave it a quick test it did not encroach on left or right columns. I wonder if I added margins or something. Anyway glad its working.
