I'm currently redesigning our company web site in XHTML/CSS to get away from the current circa 98 table-tag-soup version [4]. Everything has been going quite smoothly except for one seemingly minor glitch.

If anyone has any suggestions for getting this home page [1] working correctly [2] for IE 5.1, IE 5.0 and NS 7.x I would greatly appreciate it. Both the CSS and XHTML validate and work properly in all versions of
Mozilla (and on all platforms) and IE 5.5+ Win. I would like to keep the hacks to a minimum if possible.

You can see what's happening by viewing my BrowserCam snapshots [3]. The navigation and search box in the #header div are getting pushed down below the following #intro div and are not being displayed.

** I will send a nice Polo shirt (with our company logo embroidered) in the size of your choice as a 'thank you' to anyone who can solve this mystery using valid CSS/XHTML 1.0 Strict first.
NOTE: This was also posted to the css-d incutio list.

Thanks in advance,
Ian

Site Check - G1.com XHTML/CSS Redesign - NS 7/IE5.x Issues

Yes.. I did solve the issues... the only one that remains is IE 5.2 Mac's block rendering of the top navigation even though I'm specifying inline. I even set widths on all floated elements and that doesn't help either. Oh well.

Thanks for looking!
