Please bear with me!
This is my first attempt at producing a layout that is table-less and conforms to xhtml & css.
I have checked it in safari/mac, ie5.2/mac, ie6/win and find the results fairly acceptable, as it validates in xhtml transitional and css and I have put links at the bottom of the page (idea copied from alistapart).
The link is: http://www.chris-masters.com/dev/yogamagazine/css7.htm
If anyone gets the chance to check this layout in other browsers then please do, as it is still in development and I don't have access to all platform/browser variations.
Some feedback would be great on both design and code, as my brain has been a bit fried from all the cross-browser screwing about.
Thanks!

Nice site and well done
Problem in Moz Firebird 0.7 - You can download here http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/
Basically the detoxil add at the top is too far to the right, either forced over there or some other reason.

I agree, it's a very nice looking site. And the only problem I see is the Detoxil ad being pushed too far to the right and showing behind the grey, vertical ad bar on the right side.

thanks for the feedback guys.
the issue was to do with the margin-left property and a float, so i finally relented and cheated - is it cheating? by using absolute positioning to layout the logo and banner. ok in this instance i think because their is no text that may increase/decrease in size.

I still have ONE BIG concern though to do with font sizes. I have used vmware to run a copy of ie 5 and ie 5.5 on my pc, and the fonts appeared too large, so using the tantek hack for ie 5 pc altered the text sizes to the correct ones... from what I have read though you should have to increase the sizes on IE5/win but I seemed to have to reduce them?!?! does this work correctly on your machines?
Many, many thanks - I have almost cracked it now!
Chris.

You've got something freakin towards the bottom of the page. This showed up in IE (not rendered)
114" height="156" alt="" />

Well done with the site. It has a very clean, smooth appearance.
You might already know this, but I'd recommend using an external stylesheet. Especially if you plan on having multiple pages.
