Hello,
I've installed phpnuke and I've created a new theme. The problem's than all fonts are set in a fixed way. The user can not enlarge the size of the fonts in his browser (if he has problems with smaller fonts).
This happens with all themes of phpnuke available in web for download.
How can I overcome this problem?
Here's the style.css
FONT {FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; FONT-SIZE: 10px} TD {FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; FONT-SIZE: 10px} BODY {FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; FONT-SIZE: 10px} P {FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; FONT-SIZE: 10px} DIV {FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; FONT-SIZE: 10px} INPUT {BORDER-TOP-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-LEFT-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-RIGHT-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-BOTTOM-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 1px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 1px; FONT-SIZE: 10px; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 1px; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 1px} TEXTAREA {BORDER-TOP-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-LEFT-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-RIGHT-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-BOTTOM-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 1px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 1px; FONT-SIZE: 10px; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 1px; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 1px} SELECT {BORDER-TOP-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-LEFT-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-RIGHT-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-BOTTOM-COLOR: #000000; BORDER-TOP-WIDTH: 1px; BORDER-LEFT-WIDTH: 1px; FONT-SIZE: 10px; BORDER-BOTTOM-WIDTH: 1px; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; BORDER-RIGHT-WIDTH: 1px} FORM {FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Helvetica; FONT-SIZE: 10px} A {TEXT-DECORATION: none} A:hover {COLOR: #736f6f} .title {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #000000; FONT-SIZE: 14px; FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica; TEXT-DECORATION: none} .content {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #000000; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica} .titublock {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #B33502; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica} .B {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #ffffff; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-FAMILY: Arial, Helvetica} .B:hover {COLOR: #ffffff;} .MENU {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #ffffff; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica} .MENU:hover {COLOR: #B33502} .block-title {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #FFFFFF; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica} .storytitle {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #363636; FONT-SIZE: 12px; FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica; TEXT-DECORATION: none} .storycat {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #363636; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica; TEXT-DECORATION: underline} .boxtitle {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #363636; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica; TEXT-DECORATION: none} .boxcontent {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #000000; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica} .option {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #B33502; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica; TEXT-DECORATION: none} .titunoti {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #ffffff; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-WEIGHT: bold; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica; TEXT-DECORATION: none} .tiny {BACKGROUND: none; COLOR: #000000; FONT-SIZE: 10px; FONT-WEIGHT: normal; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana, Helvetica; TEXT-DECORATION: none}

Well you have set all fonts to 10px so yes they are fixed.
Try using em sized fonts.
1em = 100% of the default font of the browser.
For example if you want default to be 10px, then you would probably set it for about .6 to .8em

Fonts resize in phpnuke themes
Hi Daybreak_0,
Thank you!
I've did set em sized fonts, but the problems continues. I tested it in Opera and Mozilla last version and works fine. In IE v6 the fonts are fixed yet.
If I create a new module using html tags the resize by browser works fine, but if a replace all with CSS, don't work!
The phpnuke uses themes. I think this's a problem of the themes. I don't know!

I have little knowledge of themes, PHP and how it works.
I would suggest you go back to the author of the theme or possibly a PHP forum and ask them.
Tony may be able to help, but is away for a couple of weeks. If you have no luck anywhere else then come back then.
Sorry can not be much help on this one.
Regards
Day
Edited: If you provide a link it may be easier.
