Hi, I could really use some constructive feed back on art4charity.org.uk. What you think works and what just doesnât sit right.
Also I have a problem on the shop page art4charity.org.uk/shop.php in IE the Art Categories list moves about in a totally random manner then settles down at some point and stops moving! If anyone can show me where I have gone wrong there I would be most grateful.
Thanks

It doesn't validate. Oops, here we go again.

CSS now validates

But the html doesn't...
Overall it isn't bad....
Too large a page IMHO, I don't like that much vertical scroll
Doesn't work well at 800 resolution
Can barely read the links at the bottom of the page... might want to try a slightly darker color

It's a charity website, so I'm not going to get angry, and I'm willing to help you
WOOO! It's a BONGO! I did a website about it last year it gets the fur on it's back worn off because the horns rub on the back :?
The design looks too pixelly, the font is too big, and the links at the bottom are too hard to read.
Could be good though, keep it up

Hello, I'm a new member.
Anyway, I did go to check your site out and it was "ok". But I do have to say that I really don't like CSS-formatted pages that depend on screen resolution; however, that's just my personal taste.
Overall, the design itself is rather good although the Log In section needs a little more work. Nice choice of colors also.

I've made the colour of the bottom nav darker.
Got a load of non-URL encoded &'s that are the main prob with my html validation woes. That and stuf pasted from ms word in the DB
Will go over all the &'s in the next couple of days.
I hope to get the time to make a scalable style sheet sometime soon, ABCruz, this is my first CSS based website. So Iâm having a problem with figuring out how to keep the border shape and make it scale in CSS.
Thanks for the feed back keep it coming

A few general things.
The "auther" meta tag should really be either a "designer" or "copyright" meta tag depending on who Hermes Management Ltd are. The auther tag is really intended for sites that have much literature such as books and poems.
Your javascript's should be placed in external files.
<script src="something.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
Also the prevent right click on images is absolutely useless, I turned my javascript off and I was away with you pics. no sensible designer uses stuff like that.
Also I think it would be nicer if you lost the images down the right, which would then bring it in more. Then you would prob have to make the nav font smaller. Also if you did bring the side in, some of the other pages would seem more filled.
But not too bad for a first css site, you have started out semantic which can't be bad.
