Floating a column left in IE6 (standards mode) is creating a small problem in my center content div. Text is being push a few pixels to the right to give the floated div room no matter what I do. http://www.vampirical.com/?links.php pretty clearly illustrates the problem. My css is here http://www.vampirical.com/styles/styles.css

The only resolution I have come up with is using position: relative or absolute for the left column and not moving it at all, the only problem with this is my left column will sometimes be my longest so not floating it will creating footer problems.

IE 6 pixel imperfection

The only way to learn is to do it yourself

Thanks

Thanks man, just the info I was hoping for.

I haven't checked a few browsers yet but it seems to be working out well.
