I have a table that serves as my navigation menu. it is positioned to the left of the rest of the page, and is usually out of the way (not overlapping the rest of the page). I need it to do two things:

I would like it to scroll down with the page if it is scrolled out of view. I've done this before, I just can't remember how I did it.

I would like a wrap-around effect to happen when the nav bar is going to overlap the body content, which I can sort of accomplish by using the "float" flag, but it moves the rest of the content over even if it isn't being overlapped. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance.

Floating and Scrolling

Not sure I entirely follow the last bit of your post, but anyway...

You might want to check yout Tony's CSS Creator, at http://www.csscreator.com/version1/index.php, which scrolls much like you describe.
