<EDIT>
It's okay. It was figured out by someone and turned out to be what is called the 3 pixel jog. All I needed was a right margin in my #leftcolumn div which only IE could see (I think). Here's a link to the solution in case anyone else is having similar problems: http://positioniseverything.net/explorer/threepxtest.html
</EDIT>
Hi Folks.
Firstly. I'm just happy to have built a 3 column page (Header and 3 Columns contained in a container) and am just about to crack open a beer to celebrated when... I realise that... of all things... IE6 isn't displaying my page as it should. I should point put here that my page only works if the middle column stretches below the left and right columns (which suits me fine). Here's the dilema.
1 - My page has a #middlecolumn which fills the entire container below the Header and JavaScript Fader.
2 - The margins of this column (left and right) are set to 135px.
3 - Outside each margin I have floated 2 divs - #leftcolumn (to the left) and #rightcolumn (to the right).
4 - The problem in IE6 is that...at the point where my #middlecolumn text passes the lower most #leftcoloumn div. My #middlecolumn padding is lost slightly.
Not a major issue I know. But does anyone know what I could do to alleviate this?

I've coloured certain divs light blue to highlight them.

Stewart.

Hi dJomp.
Thanks for taking a look at it for me. You must have replied to this post while I was editing my initial post to inform everyone that it was no longer a problem.
Thanks anyway. That was awfully nice of you.
I though I'd just point out while I was here that if anyone does go to the link detailing the 3 pixel jog problem, then make sure you're using IE. I went there with Mozilla and spent a wee while to figure out what the hell they were referring to as all the examples looked okay to me. :oops:
Regards.
