Hey,

I'm working on a splash page and I have the layout working for the images and links leading to both the english and french section. All of this is in my main-container which I can't seem to align in the middle of the viewport.

Everyone has different resolution so I don't want to resolve this by absolutly positioning my stuff but so far I can't seem to float the container. I tried giving my body a margin of 50% but that was just crazy and didn't quite have the effect I expected.

Is there a generally accepted method or do I have to resolve to px by px design?

Thanks a bunch

Seb

aligning my splash page

can't you just put margin: 0 auto; on the main container? if not, a link may help isolate the problem.
