ah, just today discovered "Bookmarks Toolbar Folder." Needless to say the forum is bookmarked up there!
For those who don't yet know about it, if you put your fav bookmarks in this folder, it places them permanently above the web developer toolbar for easy access
it's the small things in life!

If I remember correctly, that feature was first added to NN years ago.

For a while I couldn't figure out how to switch between tabs except for the mouse. and since I don't use a mouse, I didn't take to kindly to that. But I found out recently. Ctrl+tab. Makes sense. Alt+tab will switch windows, so why not tabs? Yay FF!

The bookmarks synchronizer is quite useful too, allowing all bookmarks to be uploaded via ftp as an xbel.xml file.
Every so often I upload all my bookmarks to my hosting server and then can sync/merge my other firefox installs on separate boxes to a master bookmark file.
Theres also syncmarks which performs a similar function.

And if you don't like the Google sponsored links, or want to get rid of advert whitespace on forums (a la PCFormat) then I have just the CSS code for you.

Further to the bookmarks toolbar: You can create subdirectories so that you can better manage toolbar space. I have a "Dev Tools" folder with my most frequently used bookmarklets like Ancestors and Edit HTML. Also, if you have a set of sites you always visit - but them in a subdirectory and then right click it chosing "open in tabs" and they all open at once.

Yep - I do exactly the same, with folders for CS, College, WebDev, Jobs, PCMods, then a few stragglers like Gmail etc.
