Anything by Captain Beefheart, usually. Especially "Trout Mask Replica" album - really keeps me going.

Of course, I always listen to that great a-cappella group, Southern Cross. Apparently their CD is available online.

(in a deep southern accent) Seeing that I'm country folk down in georgia, I listen to buttloads of country music...NOT!!! Music of choice would have to be Incubus, Blindside, The Used, U2, Blink 182, Red Hot Chilli Peppers...etc...

I actually work best in silence though.

My music is currently around 28Gb, ~7500 songs, covering most forms of music. Lately the Beautiful South and Dido but mainly because I've only just picked their albums up.

Haven't heard Captain Beefheart in a looong time.
I remember his spoken word 'Bongo Fury'...

...Sam with the showing-scalp flattop,
particular about the point it made..."

I like to have some Ani Difranco playing in the background, or like markaxsysdesign said, just good ol' peace and quiet!
